The 2017 Management Associate training program, which will last one year from July 3rd, 2017, will familiarize selected MAs (Management Associates) with CDF’s organization, corporate culture, regulations, and the nature, domain knowledge, and business of the unit(s) they are assigned to. At the same time, they will perform actual tasks while developing a strong professional knowledge to become potential financial leaders for the company.
The program is a solid, multi-disciplinary and tailor-made training program to accelerate the development of potential young talents. Trainings consist of the following:
Lecturers from CDF, Venture Capital, Banking, and Securities will walk the MAs through the domain knowledge, business nature, and case studies of CDF, CDIB Capital Group, and KGI Securities in a step by step manner. The series of courses will lay a solid foundation for MAs who aspire to establish a career in the financial industry. Meanwhile, external lecturers will conduct training sessions to equip MAs with the necessary skills with opportunities to enhance those kills throughout the trainings.
MAs will rotate through frontline business and product units, mid-office credit review units, and research units to obtain a holistic view of the structure of CDF’s core businesses (e.g. banking and securities), gain a better understanding of key business processes, and acquire comprehensive, cross-functional capabilities efficiently.
At this challenging stage, MAs will perform internship at various business units to experience and observe frontline professional practices firsthand. They will also have the opportunity to go to the company’s subsidiaries in major cities in China for further training and learning opportunities. Under the guidance and leadership of supervisors and senior colleagues, MAs will be able to further explore their professional interests and outline a path for career development.
The exclusive career mentor will be assigned for MAs at different stages, and which will be headed by the senior management or senior MAs.
